Hifz-ul-Quran in Karachi: How Our Students Memorise the Qur'an for Free
Inside the Hifz programme at Jamia Faizan-e-Mustafa: daily routine, revision method and how parents can enrol their children.
Memorising the Book of Allah is one of the greatest honours a Muslim can receive. At Jamia Faizan-e-Mustafa in Orangi Town, Karachi, hundreds of children have begun this journey — free of charge.
A typical day for a Hafiz student
- Fajr & Sabaq — the new lesson is memorised after Fajr when the mind is fresh.
- Sabqi — revision of the last few days of lessons.
- Manzil — revision of older Juz to keep them strong.
- Tajweed practice — correct pronunciation with qualified Qaris.
Why Tajweed matters
We teach Nazra with proper Tajweed before Hifz so that every verse is memorised correctly from the very first day.
Who can join?
